Hi, my name is Hayden—better known online as LimbLossBoss.

I’m just a normal guy who’s been through some pretty extreme circumstances. Years ago, a traumatic car accident nearly killed me. I broke my neck, lost both my legs above the knee, and went down a dark road with alcoholism and substance abuse. Somehow, I came back from all of that to live a life that I’m incredibly grateful for—and proud of—today.

Now, I’m a husband, a dad to four wild and amazing kids, a full-time union pipefitter, and an avid outdoorsman. I’ve got a childlike sense of humor, and I create content about my legless life because I believe finding humor in tough situations is powerful—and honestly, it’s just funny. Along with the comedy, I also want to be a reliable source of information about life after limb loss and prosthetics, as well as sharing my perspective on recovery from alcoholism and addiction.

At the core of everything I do, my values are simple:
